Black garlic Coleslaw

What would grilled food be without a fresh, flavourful, and satisfying salad?

Here’s an easy and delicious black garlic coleslaw!


Ingredients:


  • 1/4–1/2 head of cabbage

  • 2 carrots

  • 3–6 black garlic cloves

  • Fifth Flavour umami sauce, to taste



Sauce:


  • 1 dl mayonnaise

  • 1 dl sour cream

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp mustard

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions:


Mix the sauce ingredients in a large bowl.

Shred the cabbage very finely, for example using a mandoline or cheese slicer.


Grate the peeled carrots.


Add the salad ingredients to the bowl with the sauce and mix well. Let the coleslaw rest in the refrigerator to develop flavour.


Serve as a side with grilled dishes or burgers.
